Our Avalon is an exceptional all purpose/close contact
saddle. It offers a more flexible tree and improved position and support,
encouraging good form and balance. The Avalon is at home doing hunter
pace, amateur owner, pony club, jumping, hunting or eventing.
The Avalon seat’s long working center and medium twist allows the rider full use of her seat and back. Both tree and panel can be adjusted to fit your horse as he develops (or for a new horse at a later time). In addition to the ergonomic design, this saddle is built to strict specifications: steel reinforced tree, all linen webbing, pigskin seat with concealed stitching... which add up to one of the most comfortable, rideable and durable saddles available. Trees and gussetted, flock stuffed panels can be fine tuned to fit your horse. 10 year tree warranty. Avalon’s padded flap model emphasizes the cross country abilities of this versatile saddle. Avalon saddles are available in Havana hogprint cowhide with pigskin seat, medium, wide and extra wide trees and 14 1/2”, 15 1/2”, 16, 16 1/2”, 17”, 17 1/2”, 18 1/2”, 19 1/2”* seats, plain or padded flap and extra forward models. *The Avalon fits approximately 1” larger than it measures: if you use an 18 1/2” in other saddles, try a 17 1/2”

on the retro-look of the Avalon Hunt, but there is nothing retro about
the way this saddle rides.
You sit in a seat designed for hours of hunting: • Durable pigskin • Extra foam padding • No-sag linen web hammock • Spring tree The seat has a long working center, medium twist and is relatively flat, side to side for unrestricted comfort in various seat positions. Long points with medium knee rolls, covered with cupped flaps provide ample leg support. Larger knee rolls and blocks are available on special order. As expected, we can build/adjust these saddles to fit your horse. Adjustable steel & wood spring trees and gussetted, flock stuffed panels allow nearly infinite adjustment. Special trees as wide as “Suffolk Punch” fit are available on special order. Available in 16 1/2”, 17 1/2”, 18 1/2”, 19 1/2”* seats; medium, wide, extra wide trees. Pigskin seat, hog print cowhide skirts & flaps, Sedgewick’s pre-oiled Newmarket color. 10 year tree warranty. *The Avalon Hunt fits approximately 1” larger than it measures: if you use an 18 1/2” in other saddles, try a 17 1/2” Avalon.
